Origins

This painting was inspired by ideas and theories on the origins of our species and other organic life on earth. The spiralling shapes are abstracted depictions of ancient ammonite fossils and DNA strands grow from the depths of a cosmic ocean. Physical dimensions and biological beings mutate as millennia of evolution are suggested in one snapshot image

The moon is also potentially a child of earth's rock and influences the cycles of its mother's life forms. Its energy animates the vital element of water which itself provides breeding grounds and life support for these forms
